Thinking the Torah Paradox

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Using examples from his book "A Dialectic of the Hebrew Language," he will show people how to think "paradoxically." There are many Hebrew words that contain contradictory meanings. They provide software for the brain to think in a more balanced way. This in turn connects to many ideas in the Torah that can help people mature on a path of personal Teshuvah. For instance, how can a person believe in total free choice and total Hashgachah, divine microsupervision of every detail simultaneously?
