Deanne Kapnik is the Director of Special Projects at the Mizel Museum. She and Sari Horovitz have spearheaded the Community Narratives Project, a collection of digital stories, which have become integral elements of the museum's exhibit. These reveal the heart of our Jewish community and open the way to learning and conversation about everything from shchitah to immigration, the pain of loss to the pride of inheritance.
