An anonymous fifteenth-century manuscript now in the Vatican Library contains the first complete translation into Hebrew of all Four Gospels: The Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. This presentation will examine the context of the translation addressing the question of why such a translation was needed, by who and for what purposes.
