CANCELED - PRESENTER UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO CONFERENCE. The trail is the perfect place to bring together ecology and Judaism. Experience the beauty and wonder of nature--through Jewish eyes. Using the book "Spirit in Nature," by Deborah Newbrun as a guide, we will head to the great outdoors; through all ages activities we will experience the wisdom nature and Judaism provide when combined. Together we will explore the connection between Jewish values and the gifts of the great outdoors.

Tapping into Children's Artistic Expression of Jewishness and Israel (Camp Limmud)

The purpose of this active interactive session is to provide children artistic means to express their perceptions and feelings about being Jewish and/or how they perceive Israel. Children will be provided with art materials. Allowing children total freedom of expression and imagination! they can either make a collective mural, individual collage and/or painting. This session is child oriented for ages 6 to 10 years old.
